Jewish Home Centennial
Celebrating 100 Years of Compassionate Care
Since its founding in 1912, the Los Angeles Jewish Home has grown to become the largest single-source provider of senior care in Los Angeles. Over five generations, we have evolved to meet the rising tide of need, providing comprehensive services from independent and assisted living to skilled nursing, residential care, geriatric psychiatry, Alzheimer’s care, rehabilitation, hospice, and palliative care.
With each passing year, the Jewish Home has become more integral to the lives of Jewish seniors and their families. By emphasizing fitness and nutrition, encouraging social, intellectual, and cultural stimulation, and redefining world-class medical care, we have set a new standard for wellness in our community and nationwide.
Our footprint is growing, but the need for our services is growing faster still, and we must continue to look ahead. To address the challenges of a diverse and expanding population, the Home is entering into its second century with a far-reaching vision for the decades to come.
